Here’s a new twist on the classic twinset — a capelet and cowl combo! Perfect for the winter months, the combination can be worn to stay extra warm. Or wear each piece separately for a number of different looks.
The duo is knit with Schaefer Yarn’s “Esperanza”, a luxurious wool/alpaca blend that comes in the most unique color combinations. It is a super bulky yarn requiring US size 13 needles, so both pieces knit up quickly.
This is the perfect on-the-go project, as the capelet is knit in one piece from hem to collar, while the cowl is knit in the round. Moss stitch, ribbing and garter stitch are all you need to know! The front can be closed with snaps sewn to the edging or a pin/brooch.
